Haverkampf Leistenschneider is pleased to present Wanderlust, the first Berlin solo exhibition of Chinese, New York-based artist Yuri Yuan (b. 1996, Harbin, China). Yuri Yuan's paintings gesture toward themes of geographical and emotional distance through carefully staged relationships between figures and their surroundings. Imbued with visual symbolism, her landscapes and domestic scenes become projections of interior psychological states.
