IMAGES at Work.

iros.gallery is pleased to announce IMAGES at Work. , the first Berlin solo exhibition by Julian Kyusang Lee, on view from 30 October to 5 December 2026. The opening reception takes place on Friday, 30 October, at 18:00, in the artist’s presence.

Working primarily with images, Lee turns the ordinary instruments of picture-making, such as focus charts and chroma-key surfaces, into his subject, asking how images are made, read and translated across cultural, political and social codes. The exhibition is accompanied by a text by Hanar Hupka.

Lee completed his Meisterstudium at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB); his work has been shown at Deichtorhallen Hamburg, LUMA Arles, Zeitz MOCAA and within documenta fifteen (2022).
